With metallic luster, magnetism, covering power is strong, high temperature resistant, weather resistant, insoluble in water, soluble in acid, to be stable in the atmosphere for the average concentration of acid and alkali and sulfur dioxide gas no effect, good paint quality and fastness.

One is Reduction by ammonium chloride reduction of sodium bichromate, the other is Chromic anhydride thermal decomposition method.
