Product Description
A thermoplastic resin produced by polymerization of ethylene, it is one of the most common plastics. Over 100 million tonnes of polyethylene resin are produced annually, accounting for 34 per cent of the total plastics market.
PE is a typical crystalline polymer, melting point is 130ºC ~ 145ºC, its characteristics are tasteless, odorless, non-toxic, non-glossy surface, milky waxy particles.

Advantage :
a. Low temperature or cold resistance, the lowest operating temperature can reach -100~-70°C;
b. Corrosion resistance (no n itric acid resistance), insoluble in general solvents at room temperature;
c. Low water absorption, less than 0.01%;

e. With high ductility, impact strength and low friction, it exhibits strong creep under sustained forces, which can be reduced by the addition of staple fibers.
Classification :
Polyethylene can be divided into high density polyethylene (HDPE), low density polyethylene (LDPE) and linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) according to different polymerization methods, molecular weight and chain structure
Properties: HDPE commonly known as hard soft glue, natural color, cylindrical or oblate particles, insoluble in general solvent at room temperature, but in aliphatic hydrocarbon, aromatic hydrocarbon and halogenated hydrocarbon for a long time in contact with swelling, at 70ºC above slightly soluble in t oluene, acetic acid. Heating in the air and oxidation under the influence of sunlight. Resistant to most acid and base erosion. Low water absorption, can remain soft at low temperature, high electrical insulation.
Uses: Using injection molding, blow molding, extrusion, rolling molding and other molding methods, the production of film products, daily necessities and industrial hollow containers of various sizes, pipe, packaging calendering tape and ligation tape, rope, fish net and weaving fiber.
Properties: HDPE low density polyethylene (commonly known as soft glue) is a waxy white resin, its structure is characterized by non-linear. Molecular weight is generally 100000~500000. Therefore, compared with medium density, high density polyethylene, it has lower crystallinity and softening point, has better softness, elongation, electrical insulation, transparency, and higher impact strength. Low density polyethylene has poor mechanical strength, poor heat resistance, and another obvious weakness is poor resistance to environmental stress cracking.
Uses: Low density polyethylene is mostly used for film products, and most of the film products are used for packaging. The other part is used for agricultural film and building film. Low density polyethylene packaging film can be used for candy, vegetables, frozen food and other food packaging, can also be used as a lining film, shrink packaging film, elastic packaging film, heavy packaging film and other non-food packaging film.
Properties: As LLDPE and LDPE have significantly different molecular structures, their properties are also different. Compared with LDPE, LLDPE has excellent environmental stress cracking resistance and electrical insulation, higher heat resistance, impact resistance and puncture resistance.
Uses: Through injection molding, extrusion, blow molding and other molding methods, the production of film, daily necessities, pipes, wires and cables.
