Product Description

The scientific name of PA12 is polydodeclactam, also known as nylon 12. The basic raw material of its polymerization is butadiene, which can depend on petrochemical industry. It’s a semi-crystalline — crystalline thermoplastic material. Its properties are similar to those of PA11, but its crystal structure is different. PA12 is a very good electrical insulator and will not be affected by moisture like other polyamides. It has good chemical stability against impact machines. There are many improved varieties of PA12 in terms of plasticizing and enhancing properties

High fatigue strength and rigidity, good heat resistance, low friction coefficient, good wear resistance, but large moisture absorption, dimensional stability is not enough.
Application: Medium load, operating temperature < Wear-resistant bearing drive parts working at 100-120 degrees with no or little lubrication.
